CHAIR
As a Business Leader and global citizen with a vast professional portfolio, my work ethos is informed by Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice and Belonging (DEIJB) which permeates all aspect of my existence. Whether coaching and working with clients and businesses (Allied Empowerment®), dialoguing with thought-provoking inter-generational audience on global workplace and community issues (Thinking Reimagined!®) or focused on issues of gender parity, diversity and Inclusion (Live Abundantly!®), I am intentionally focused on this question - How to effect and implement meaningful, impactful and long term empowering change thus people Thrive.
My four decades of knowledge, life-long learning and experiences across multiple sectors on three continents is an invaluable asset which offers a rich array of contribution to the sectors and individuals with whom I partner. I am a passionate and authentic leader who embraces curiosity and social worth in advocating for change and inclusive policies and actionable plans which is critical to the sustainability of the world.
Additionally, I have a divese board leadership experience as a Trustee of Live Abundantly® and Global Ambassador for Savvitas-World Business Women based in the United Kingdom. I previously served on the boards of Taking The Reins and The Country School in Los Angeles, California.

Mr. Stanley Evans , MBE
DEPUTY CHAIR
Stanley Evans MBE was born in a council house in Welwyn Garden City to a Welsh Father & Irish Mother. He left school at 15 to work in a factory and continued his education at night school for seven years and concurrently four years at drama school. After qualifying as a technician in medical electronics he moved into the motor industry. By the end of 2007 he was a Director of MCL, a subsidiary of ITOCHU Japan running their UK division.
In 2008 he moved to India to launch Porsche in Delhi, India. He went on to also project manage the launch of Porsche in Chennai and then Mumbai. In 2016 he moved to Lagos and continues as a consultant for British companies entering India, as well as an acting career which has seen him feature in eleven Nollywood movies, he owns a share of a new commercial vehicle distribution company. In his spare time and on a voluntary basis, he formed the BBG in Chennai and then Lagos.
He was awarded the MBE by her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in the New Years honours list 2021 for services to British Industries Overseas.
He allegedly speaks Welsh, French, reasonable English and Hindi. He is a strong Environmentalist, a Vegetarian since 1988, a Feminist and swims quite a lot to keep fit.

Mrs. Sidikat Taiwo
MEMBERS SECRETARY
Sidikat is a trained Chartered Company Secretary and Senior Business Analyst. She has over 20 years experience working in global finance and investment management in the City of London. She has operated at senior executive level, with the likes of Prudential, Bank of Montreal, Barclays Global Investors, Axa, and Lehman Brothers.
She moved to Nigeria with her husband and children 3 years ago. She has been a BBG Trustee and is currently Membership Secretary.

Mr. Eddie Abraham
TREASURER
Edward has over 30 years’ experience in Financial Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, Financial Management, Management Consultancy, Implementations Consultancy, and Project Management. A seasoned Chartered Accountant, consummate professional, with a wealth of systems knowledge and experience. He has a rare blend of Accountancy, Project Management and Information Technology. As an Implementations Consultant and Systems Accountant, one of his major strengths is his immense understanding and Analysis of Business processes.
Edward uses his skill to serve many Organizations/Associations including serving as the Financial Secretary and Council Member of the Nigeria – Britain Association, The Rotary Club, The District Society of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria etc.
He is happily married with children and loves travelling, listening to music, plays Chess and Lawn Tennis.

Dr. Ola Brown
COMMITTEE MEMBER
Dr Ola Brown is the founder of the Flying Doctors Healthcare Investment Company (FDHIC). The FDHIC specializes in technology enabled healthcare focused public private partnerships (PPP) in Africa.
There are two arms to our business our infrastructure investing arm and our venture capital arm that invests in fintech and healthtech.
Dr Ola studied medicine and surgery at the Hull York Medical School after which she worked in Acute Medicine in the UK. She then went on to be awarded the Japanese MEXT scholarship which allowed her to further her studies in Tokyo, Japan, the fellowship focused on lab-based research with induced pluripotent stem cells.
She also holds a Masters degree in Finance and Economic Policy (Major) from the University of London (Modules included: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Financial Markets, Capital Markets, Banking, Banking regulation & IMF/Economic policy).
She can support BBG members with all things related to healthcare as well as investments/finance and technology.

Ms. Chinelo Ononye
COMMITTEE MEMBER
Chinelo Ononye is a qualified pharmacist with extensive experience in the establishment and operation of wholesale and retail pharmacy businesses. As the Founder and Chief Executive of The Drug Store Ltd, she grew the business from a “boutique” retail pharmacy to a robust pharmaceutical distribution enterprise.
She’s a multi-talented personality that has left her mark across a variety of sectors including healthcare, arts & culture, sports and the social impact community development.
Her distinctive curiosity and drive have also spurred her involvement in hospitality, media and communications ventures where she enjoys applying her skills and scientific thinking towards solving commercial problems. She is not only an avid art collector, with a unique flair for contemporary and post-modern African arts, she is an artist and equally depicts her humanist and socio-political perspectives through commissioned paintings and poetry.

Engr. Seyi Barber

Engr. Seyi Barber, a British-born engineer & entrepreneur is on a mission to drive impactful change and value in Africa. His global mindset and core foundation as a Chemical Engineer, Seyi gathered 10 years of international experience in the Oil & Gas industry living and working, in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, the Middle East and all across Scotland and the UK for the likes of BP, Shell & Chevron TCO/Nigeria.
Seyi has a developed a background in product & project management, business development, corporate strategy execution following his educational grooming from the likes of Imperial College London and Harvard Business School.
After moving to Nigeria 2016 for the first time, Seyi has co-founded a plethora of impactful start-ups in various sectors in Nigeria- receiving recognition and funding from USAID & LSETF (Lagos State Education Training Fund) for technical training and development for the service workforce. But in 2021, his passion for young people, led his focus and drive crafting Juno Living; Africa’s premier tech-led, affordable housing solution for young professionals.
Seyi has been a member of the British Business Group from 2018 and looks forward to serving this community whilst promoting businesses to the highest standards.

Boma Alabi, OON, SAN is a Senior Partner of Primera Africa Legal (PAL). She leads PAL’s Corporate Governance and Compliance Practice.

Mr. Nadim Chidiac

Nadim is the chief operating officer of Coollink.ng, an internet service provider (ISP) with nation-wide presence covering the whole of Nigeria.
With 20 years of experience in the information technology and telecommunications sectors, Nadim has achieved organic growth for Coollink through successful partnerships with local and multinational enterprises, such as Facebook, Eutelsat, Microsoft, NSSL… He has also acted as a technology consultant for several enterprises in Nigeria, helping them implement standard operating procedures for maximum data security and protection.
Through a customer centric culture, he has led Coollink to become one of the leading ISPs in Nigeria, targeting all sectors, from NGOs, enterprises, government, oil and gas, providing solutions to the complex requirements.

Mr. Olayiwola 'Layi' Ogunlewe

My name is Olayiwola Ogunlewe, I run a downstream oil and gas company in Nigeria. I am a keen follower of politics and business, I believe human capacity and drive is the best way to move a society forward.
I love Manchester United football club I also follow both codes of rugby.
I am passionate about Nigeria and I believe the BBG can help Nigerian businesses become stronger and more resilient with the importing the right values to compliment Nigerian ingenuity and drive.
